A few months back I got a small trash can for Trent's room and ever since then Laci has been asking for one to go in her room. So last week when I was in Target I spotted this little white trash can (or it could be used as a container for small toys, etc.). It was in the Dollar Spot section for $2.50, so I grabbed it. Right away, I knew I wanted to embellish it with some cute ribbon. I know it's just a trash can, but there's no reason we can't fancy it up a bit. When I told Laci about my idea, she was all for it. I used this wide brown and pink, polka dot ribbon to accent these colors that are also used in the quilt on her bed. I did try it with thinner ribbon, but the wide looks the best. You can get cuter, puffier bows with it. Laci and I both love it! Cute and girly!

It does look cute and girly! The perfect touch to a little girl's room! Beats my boring white one...maybe I'll have to borrow the idea? :)
