Last week Laci was awarded a coupon good for a tea party with me. So we pulled out the fancy goblets and plates and had ourselves a party. Since we don't drink tea, it was more like a milk party. Laci and our friend Thea wanted to stay in her room until I had it all set up so it would be a surprise. When they opened their eyes they found a pink and lace tablecloth that adorned their dainty little treats; vanilla meringues, little cakes with strawberry filling and rolled wafers with chocolate centers. It was very simple, but they thought it was grand! I filled their goblets with milk (and showed them how to hold them) and the party began. We had fun drinking our milk with our pinkies out and saying things like," It's delicious dahling." They couldn't wait until they could have more girl time and have another "milk" party!
Cheers!

What a sweet party. Its a good reminder for me that its time to do the same for my little "dahling". Spring is a wonderful time of year for tea parties. Great ideas! I have that same beautiful cake plate!
Oh, to be a girl!! :)
We'll be having a tea party for Mikayla's birthday, so this was inspiring!
Oh, I love girlie tea parties. We just had one last week here too. I ended up with "decorative cheerios" in my tea cup! I should post about it.
