Our A-Day Outing
On Saturday, Trent, Laci and I traveled over to Tuscaloosa, Al with my mom, dad, sister and nephew for the University of Alabama's spring football game or A-Day game. Basically, the crimson team scrimmages the white team. We started off the day with a little boy who wasn't feeling so hot, but he got to feeling better after we got there. It was a dreary and windy morning, but then the sun came out and it did actually get a bit warmer. (It was a very bad hair day. I straightened it and then it rained. Can we say puffy and frizzy. Yikes!)
We walked around campus and took a tour of the Paul Bryant museum, which was interesting. Then we waited in line for the gates to open at Bryant-Denny Stadium. We picked us out some good seats and enjoyed a flag football game and then the actual game. The kids really liked seeing Big Al, the Al mascot. We all liked hearing the band and doing the wave, too. It was fun to go to the spring game again. We used to go when I was younger and I always remember how much fun it was. It's a bit different now, but still fun. We had a great time! I can't wait for the fall and some Al football.
This is Laci at the Paul Bryant museum. She just had to get her picture taken with that Orange Bowl trophy that is full of oranges. Fake ones! They look real though.

Kind of jealous! We wanted to be there but passed & planted the garden! And then it was delayed on tv due to some stupid basketball game! Looks like you all had a great time! ROLL TIDE!
Looks like a fabulous family outing!
