Easy Domino Ornaments

Recently I posted asking for your ideas for Christmas ornaments I could make with Laci's kindergarten class and got some great ideas, but I totally forgot about these easy domino ornaments. I made these a few years ago after seeing them on splitcoast stampers. Actually, I remember gettin' a little crazy with the domino ornaments. I made A LOT of them for friends and family. They are so easy and can be made fairly quick.

To make this domino ornament, I used my santa rubber stamp and stamped him in black Staz On ink onto the flat side of the domino. Then I used different colors of Sharpies to color him in. Next I wrote the child's name on the domino and ran a bead of hot glue around the sides of the domino and wrapped my ribbon around it and made a loop for hanging. You could also use some Crystal Effects on your image to add some dimension and texture. Again, these are super, super easy and the kids really liked them.

What a cute idea (and a great project for the incomplete domino sets we have laying around!) I think we'll try some of these this weekend. Can you get the Staz on Ink at the craft store with the other stamp pads? I've never looked for it before.

Thanks! Yes. You should be able to find the permanant Staz On pads near the regular ink pads. At least that's where they are in the craft stores here like Michael's and Hobby Lobby. Have fun!
