Snowman Soup

I have been busy trying to finish up gifts that I am making before next week. Whewww! I think I'll get it done. This is Snowman Soup that I finally got packaged up this morning. (Sorry, not the best picture) Again, this is a gift I've been making for years because it's so cute and simple. It's not my idea, I think it came from the splitcoast stampers website, but I'm not sure. In the past my husband has taken these to co-workers, my son has given them to his teachers and I've taken them to ladies from church that I visit, which is what I'll be doing again this year. I like this little gift because you not only get yummy hot cocoa(I used french vanilla), a candy cane and mini marshmallows, but you also get the mug! Their is also a cute snowman soup poem to go along with this. I think the poem adds that extra little touch.

The poem reads:

Was told you've been real good this year
Always glad to hear it
With freezing weather drawing near
You'll need to warm the spirit
So here's a little Snowman Soup
Complete with stirring stick
Add hot water, sip it slow
It's sure to do the trick!

Here are the contents of the mug before I finish it up by wrapping it in clear cellophane and tieing a matching ribbon and attaching the poem.

This was always a favorite of mine when I was teaching and I would give these to my parent volunteers. So cute!
