Happy Birthday!!

Yesterday was our little Laci bug's 8th birthday! Woo!Hoo! She said last night that she had a fun birthday and can't wait for her art party on Saturday! There she is in the birthday chair waiting for breakfast.

After school I was all set to take her to get a birthday manicure, which has been a tradition of ours for the past few years, but she asked very nicely if instead she could go to Build A Bear Workshop. So I told her I would take her and spend the same amount on a bear that I would have spent on her manicure. She was so happy! She picked out a cute, colorful bear that cuddled up with her last night at bed time.

We then headed to Sonic for a b'day treat! Of all the things there, she just wanted an orange slush. Orange slush it is! Happy b'day my sweet 8 yr. old girl! Now it's onto the party Saturday and her baptism next week!
